Composite zeolite and nanostructures
|
Building on the surface properties of high surface area β-SiC shapes, SiCAT and a CNRS team LMSPC (Strasbourg) have jointly patented innovative composites for application in catalysis and photocatalysis.
These composites include :
- Zeolites (beta, ZSM-5) supported on β-SiC, featuring a short residence time of the reactants/products inside the channels and low pressure drop.
- Carbon and β-SiC nanotubes and nanofibers anchored on β-SiC shapes for easy and safe handling and low pressure drop.
- β-SiC shapes washcoated with metal oxides (alumina, titania).
